Statement
Accessibility
Last updated: September 2026
We want contractors and partners to be able to learn about and contact Teles Remodeling with the device, browser, or assistive technology that works for them. Accessibility is part of how we build the site, not an afterthought.
Our target
This website is built to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA as its technical baseline. Accessibility is an engineering goal for this site. It is not a guarantee of legal immunity, and we keep testing and improving.
What we build in
- Full keyboard operation. Navigation, the mobile menu, project viewer, and contact actions work without a mouse.
- Clear, visible focus indicators on every interactive element.
- Semantic page structure with proper landmarks, headings, and a skip-to-content link.
- Text contrast checked against WCAG AA requirements across the navy, steel, and white palette.
- Support for
prefers-reduced-motion: parallax, shader movement, and scroll-driven effects are disabled when your system requests reduced motion. All information stays fully available. - Responsive layout that reflows at narrow widths and supports browser zoom without losing content or functionality.
- Touch-friendly target sizes for phones and tablets.
- Meaningful text alternatives for images; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
Known limitations
- Project photographs include concise alternative text. We review that text whenever the selected work images change.
- The hero background effect is purely decorative and conveys no information. If it cannot run on a device, or if reduced motion is requested, a static background is shown instead.
